Wedding Officiants- Savannah, Hilton Head & Atlanta

Our wedding officiants perform ceremonies for all sorts of couples and we receive requests for weddings 7 days a week. In Savannah, our team marries between 350-450 couples a year and we expect to do about 30% of that volume in Atlanta and Hilton Head during the first 12 months and grow from there.  Our officiants perform, on average, 5-10 ceremonies a month depending on their schedule and goals.

We need one wedding officiant in Savannah who has daytime flexibility. We are looking for 1-2 officiants in Hilton Head with daytime flexibility, and 3-5 officiants in Atlanta with room for 1-2 officiants who are only available in the evenings and weekends. We plan to offer elopement packages (officiant + photography) in DeKalb & Fulton counties and offer ceremony only services with appropriate travel fees across the metro area.

We will help chosen candidates with ordination paperwork and training upon being hired.

Responsibilities:

  •   Officiate pre-written wedding ceremonies as assigned
  •   Provide high level of customer service to all clients with enthusiasm
  •   Keep information about weddings and clients confidential
  •   Dress appropriately for the occasion (generally cocktail or formal business wear for women, suit for men)
  •   Be prompt for all events and arrive before the scheduled time

Qualifications:

  •  Significant experience with public speaking or performing
  •  Experience as an independent contractor who organizes his or her own work and has been responsible to customers
  •  Comfort with performing ceremonies that are both non-denominational and non-religious and for couples of diverse backgrounds
  •  Available at least half of the weekends in 2022 & 2023

Compensation:

  • $100-$150 per wedding ceremony performed, depending on the market, with additional fees for travel and rehearsals. Payment is made bi-monthly via Zelle.

Application Instructions:

  •  If interested, please send a resume and an email where you tell us why you want the position and why you’d be great at it to hello at savannahcustomweddings dot com. We will hold Zoom interviews with our preferred candidates. Finalists will be asked to perform a mock wedding ceremony in person for our team.

Elopement Photographers- Hilton Head & Atlanta

Many wedding photographers seek out full day events… but in our opinion, that is only because they have not experienced the beauty of elopements! Elopements are a great way to make an income while introducing a lot of flexibility to one’s personal life. Our company does all the marketing and pre-event customer service for our elopement packages, meaning our photographers just need to show up, shoot, and deliver a gallery. It makes it a plum job! Photographers can upsell their clients on prints, too, if that makes sense for them.

We will be offering our signature 30 minute and one hour packages in Hilton Head, Beaufort County & Atlanta. For Hilton Head, a photographer that lives within 20-30 minutes of the beaches and popular elopement spots in Beaufort would be ideal. You would be covered by our business license(s) in each location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide wedding photography for assigned clients for the amount of time purchased (30 minutes, one hour, or two hours)
  • Provide an online gallery of photos that are edited (proper white balance, toning, exposure, chosen black and whites, contrast, and straightening) directly to the client within two weeks of the wedding date
  • Answer customer service questions from clients after the gallery is received
  • Provide high level of customer service to all clients with enthusiasm
  • Keep information about weddings and clients confidential
  • Dress appropriately for the occasion
  • Be prompt for all events and arrive before the scheduled time
  • Attend client meetings and trainings if needed

Qualifications:

  •   Significant experience as in independent wedding photographer or second shooter
  •   Experience as an independent contractor who organizes his or her own work and has been responsible to customers
  •   Comfort with couples of all different types of cultural backgrounds and love stories
  •   Available at least 20% of the weekends in 2022 & 2023 and have daytime flexibility

While not disqualifying, we prefer photographers who use Pixieset to host their client galleries.

Compensation:

  • Compensation depends on the (1) the market, (2) the amount of time provided to the client and (3) day of the week. It starts at $350 for a 30 minute session in Savannah. We are happy to answer inquiries about rates for specific markets via email. Please remember that we handle the marketing and customer service up until the event and our photographers are only responsible for showing up to the event and delivering the gallery. Payment is made weekly on Wednesdays via Zelle.

Application Instructions:

  • If interested, please send three galleries and an email where you tell us why you want the position and why you’d be great at it to hello at savannahcustomweddings dot com. We will hold Zoom interviews with our preferred candidates.

Most of these requests are on Saturdays and we are searching for qualified people who can fill this role when needed. It is a great opportunity for extra income. We are looking to hire a pool of 3-4 assistants.

Application Instructions:

  • If interested, please send us a resume and an email where you tell us why you want the position and why you’d be great at it to hello at savannahcustomweddings dot com.
